This notice explains how Evolve Intellectual Property Limited (“Evolve”, “we”, “us”) uses cookies and similar technologies on www.evolve-ip.com. Please read it with our Privacy notice.
What cookies are
Cookies are small text files that a website places on your device. Our website also saves small amounts of information in your browser’s own storage (known as local storage and session storage). This works in a similar way, so this notice covers it alongside cookies.
How we use them
We use cookies for three purposes only: to keep the website secure and working; to understand, in aggregate, how the website is used so that we can improve it; and to remember your cookie choice. We do not use cookies for advertising, and we do not share cookie data with anyone.
The cookies we use
| Cookie | What it does | Set by | How long it lasts | Type |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| __cf_bm | Tells human visitors from automated traffic so that the website stays available | Cloudflare, which delivers and protects the website for us | 30 minutes after your last activity | Strictly necessary |
| _cfuvid | Tells apart visitors who share one internet connection, for Cloudflare’s traffic limits | Cloudflare | Until you close your browser | Strictly necessary |
| cf_clearance | Records that your browser has passed a Cloudflare security check so that it is not repeated | Cloudflare | 12 months | Strictly necessary |
| wpEmojiSettingsSupports | Records whether your browser can display emoji | Our website (WordPress) | Until you close your browser | Strictly necessary |
| wp_consent_statistics | Remembers the choice you make in Cookie settings | Our website | 12 months | Strictly necessary |
| burst_uid | Gives your browser a random identifier so that we can count visits and see whether visitors return. No name or internet address is stored | Our website (Burst Statistics) | 30 days | Analytics – you can switch this off |
| elementor | Counts page views and visits in your browser; used by our page-builder’s display rules | Our website (Elementor) | Local storage: until you clear it. Session storage: until you close your browser | Functionality – you can switch this off |
Your choices
Strictly necessary cookies cannot be switched off; the website would not work securely without them.
You can switch analytics and functionality cookies off at any time, free of charge, using the control below. Switching them off does not affect your use of the website. This page is linked as “Cookie Notice” at the foot of every page. We store your choice in the wp_consent_statistics cookie so that we remember it on your next visit. We also respect your browser’s “Do Not Track” setting for analytics.
Your choice is saved in your browser for 12 months.
You can also block or delete cookies through your browser settings; your browser’s help pages explain how. Blocking strictly necessary cookies may stop parts of the website working.
Personal data
Some cookies, and the internet address your browser sends when it requests a page, may be personal data. Cloudflare processes internet addresses as our service provider to protect the website. Burst Statistics uses the address on our own server only to work out your country and to filter out automated traffic, and does not store it. We keep the individual records our analytics create for 24 months, after which they are deleted automatically; only aggregated statistics, which say nothing about individual visitors, are kept.
Changes to this notice
We review this notice at least once a year and whenever the cookies we use change. The date at the top shows when it was last updated.
